Is The Sham Wow Really a Wow Product?

The now famous yellow rag known as the Sham Wow is still selling like hot cakes even though it has been out for awhile and we’re in a recession. Let’s review our test results to see if it’s worth your hard earned money or see if it is a scam.

The first test was to take a can of pop and a carpet square. I poured soda on the carpet piece. Vince in the infomercial said Sham Wow would “vacuum” the pop. It didn’t quite work that way for me. I had to push the Sham Wow and even then it left some of the drink. It was good, but now “wow” good. I’d give that a seven out of ten. The sweater and car wash tests were much the same. Results were good, but not great.

The next test result was much more impressive. I poured water in a bowl and shazam the Sham Wow “wowed” me as it soaked it up in a matter of seconds. That was definitely a ten out of ten.

When you consider that you get four towels for a mere twenty bucks, I think this is a good value. Overall, I give the Sham Wow an eight on a ten point rating scale. It does some things very well. Maybe we just need Vince’s magic touch to get it to do everything the infomercial says it can do. But it is still worth the money. Go get you a Sham Wow, just don’t expect to be blown away by it.
