Isn’t it amazing to think how huge eBay has become? I remember when I first joined the auction site, things were much different back then in 2001. Did you know that Michael Jackson’s underwear was actually sold on eBay once? Yes, it’s true. Not only that, but a baby was too. Not to mention a soul, a cornflake that was shaped like the state of Illinois, and even a town in the state of Texas. Wow. Who are the buyers of these things anyway? And did they actually pay for these things, and if so, how did they take ownership? Makes you wonder what will be next. A corpse? Maybe a flying pig, or maybe something it crazier. One could sit and ponder all the possibilities all day. Or maybe not.

Five strange but interesting facts I just discovered:

1. When Dalmation puppies are born, they do not have spots yet.

2. Why is honey easy on the digestive system? Because a bee has already digested it.

3. What color calms our nerves? Blue helps the brain release calming hormones.

4. All birds except owls raise their lower eyelids to wink. It drops the upper eyelid.

5. Whenever you sneeze, you kill a few brain cells.

Maybe this one isn’t for the college students, but about college students. Either way, I was a college kid not that long ago. I think this is very appropriate, especially if you think about the changes that take place during those four (sometimes more) years that someone goes from being a teenager to an adult (well sort of). Anyway, here it is:
